HCLTech and AMD Forge Alliance to Power Next-Gen Enterprise AI and Cloud Solutions
In a significant move underscoring the convergence of AI and enterprise IT, HCLTech and AMD have formed a strategic alliance aimed at delivering advanced solutions across artificial intelligence, cloud, and digital transformation. The collaboration will combine AMD’s high-performance computing capabilities — including its MI300 and EPYC processors — with HCLTech’s systems integration and domain-specific expertise.
The partnership will focus on co-developing industry-specific use cases in areas such as generative AI, intelligent automation, and edge computing. HCLTech will also integrate AMD technology into its existing AI platforms and offer joint solutions to clients in financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing. The alliance reflects growing enterprise appetite for compute-intensive AI deployments, and positions both companies to capture long-cycle digital infrastructure investment.
Gorilla Technology (GRRR) Surges on Strategic Acquisition of Thai Tech Providers
Gorilla Technology Group, a developer of edge AI solutions and cybersecurity software, announced a definitive agreement to acquire Thailand’s CNS and its subsidiary CANS. The deal is expected to immediately enhance GRRR’s presence across Southeast Asia, particularly in smart city projects and telecom infrastructure.
CNS and CANS are known for their telecom system integration capabilities and AI-driven analytics. This acquisition allows Gorilla to rapidly expand its customer base in ASEAN markets while vertically integrating its AI surveillance and network management platforms. Shares of GRRR rose sharply on the news, reflecting investor confidence in the synergistic potential and access to high-growth regional markets.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Unveils Global “AI Factory” Offering with NVIDIA
HPE has introduced a comprehensive new suite of infrastructure solutions called the “AI Factory,” developed in partnership with NVIDIA. This platform is aimed at organizations looking to deploy large-scale generative AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and data-intensive workloads.

The AI Factory bundles HPE’s GreenLake hybrid cloud platform with NVIDIA’s full AI stack, including H100 GPUs, CUDA software, and NeMo frameworks for LLM training and deployment. By offering a turnkey solution, HPE aims to simplify the complexity of enterprise AI adoption. Analysts view this as a timely launch given the surge in enterprise AI pilots, and a potential revenue driver in the cloud infrastructure-as-a-service space.
Amarin Signs EU Licensing Deal Worth Up to $175 Million with Recordati for VAZKEPA
Amarin Corporation (AMRN) has signed an exclusive licensing and supply agreement with Italian pharmaceutical firm Recordati to commercialize VAZKEPA — its prescription-grade EPA drug for cardiovascular disease — across 59 countries, primarily in the European Economic Area (EEA).
Under the agreement, Amarin will receive a $25 million upfront payment, with an additional $150 million tied to sales-based milestones. Recordati will handle regulatory submissions, pricing, and distribution in local markets, allowing Amarin to expand its global footprint without incurring large direct commercialization costs. VAZKEPA has already secured regulatory approval in the EU for patients at high cardiovascular risk, and this partnership significantly de-risks the drug’s European monetization.
